She enjoys laughing and do not like tears on her face, so she keeps her tears in the attic of her mind, constantly disappearing them. She'll be back in Singapore in year 2009, where she hopes to excel in the field of Engineering. Red Cross and Red Crescent Society is the one that matures her and let her see the world with her own eyes. She loves being a member of the Kiwanis big family and hopes to remain an active member even though she'll be leaving Key Club end of this year. Year 2007 marks her slip, as she continues in class 4 Science 2 and then 5 Science 2 (2008), which was when she decided to slow down and takes things slowly while finding her roots and thinking and deciding for her future. Friday, June 26, 2009 Volunteering for Asian Youth Games rocks.For those who didn't know, I was volunteering at the Changi Airport for the Asian Youth Games. Designation: Immigration Officer. Which means, I have this pass with me that allows me to go into transit area. Look at my Facebook primary picture then, it's my uniform and my pass clipped on. Volunteered on a total of 14 days. I start my shift at 3pm, and ends at 11pm. At first, I was allocated at Terminal 2, but at near end of the whole thing, I practically got transferred here and there. I love it. Like how we get to bring in the delegates from other countries, those athletes, VIPs, Olympics Committee and such. I got to collect their passports, show them how to fill in the embarkation form, help them settle their visas, and send them off to their hotels. Hmm... Who have I received? Team Officials: -Iran -China -Iraq -United Arab Emirates -Macau -Hong Kong -Chinese Taipei -Laos -Bhutan -Thailand -Japan -Kazakhstan -Kyrgyzstan -South Korea -Nepal -Oman -North Korea -Qatar Athletes: -Myanmar -Japan -China -Macau -Chinese Taipei -Iran -Iraq -Oman -Japan VIPs: -Bahrain -China -Japan -Olympic Committee And I saw FT Island! I was doing Helpdesk for that day when I realises why is there so many people in yellow shirts? Our Terminal 2 Immigration and Custom IC, Lisa, asked a girl, and she said some Korean group. Original. And by complete, I meant complete: non edit, non summarized, non shortened or whatsoever. OK, not so original that it is in English, but as original as it can be. I was just looking at the shelves in Times at Changi Airport when my eyes saw this: ROMANCE OF THE THREE KINGDOMS I practically shrieked out loud. (SOL? kewl!) Complete set! OMG!!! If you don't know Wendy is a history freak, check again. I hated school history, but I can't resist China history. Fan Li, Zhuge Liang, Cao Cao, Kangxi. They all amuses me. Thursday, June 4, 2009 I dreamt of you yesterday night.Nice dream. But when I woke up in the morning... I got so bleaked. It's all a dream. Only a dream. Should I be happy, at least I spent some time with you, even if it was just a dream? Or should I be sad, as it reminds me of you? I didn't know how much I missed you until this morning. And I realised this morning that even if you curl up in bed, hugging your favourite stuffed toy tightly, inhaling the home smell, it doesn't take away the dread. Of how much I miss you. =( Music is Love.
